FRANCES VAN BEELEN

In my work, the focus of my attention goes to creating expressive experiences, useing unconventional materials and unstrained shapes.

I am a young, starting designer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Currently, I am in my third year of the study Spatial design at Willem de Kooning Academy. 

I have a great passion for designing installations and public spaces that stimulate contact between the visitor, the environment and the designed space. My goal is to make people aware of their surroundings and pull them out of their daily routine.

I like working on a research-based level and think that a creative design has a lot of added value to create a successful, positive experience for the user.
